I'm back!!!!!! Hey Urban babies, have you missed me....well I have missed you. I have been so busy with trying to get myself in order, I haven't had time for you all, shame on me. I have been hitting the gym and working out but today I said I was going to update my blog no matter what. This one is going to be short and sweet, but I think you will enjoy it all the same. I want to talk about one of my favorite places to shop and that's at Kendra Scott. Kendra Scott is a famous jewelry maker from right here in Austin, TX. One day me and my husband stumbled upon her shop while on South 1st on a Saturday doing some vendor street shopping. What caught my eye was her window displays....absolutely beautiful. The shop was closed at the time, but I told my husband we had to come back the next weekend. I'm so glad I did. Shopping in her her boutique is like shopping in a candy store, except you can make custom made jewelry. Her store has so many colorful and natural stones to choose from, that you can literally spend all day coming up with your own unique color design. My first purchase were the Nyla Starburst earrings which I hand picked the colors for. I picked purple stones, because that is one of my favorite colors. The staff is wonderful and so down to earth. I believe Erica helped me that day, but I'm bad with names...need to work on that. Anywho, I love her pieces because they are timeless and very affordable. She has 3 shops in the US. One in Dallas, Beverly Hills, and the headquarters right here in Austin TX. If you are every in one of those cities, please stop by her store and tell her Nikki sent you. Oh, I almost forgot, every Wednesday at the Austin location she has something called Girl's Night Out (Guy's what a great way to get that special lady something wonderful as well) where they serve treats and your able to walk around, socialize, and shop.
