Wellness Wednesday - Progress on my journey
Merry Christmas to you all!!! I coming to you all real quick to give you an update on my weight loss journey. I haven't changed much of my routine as of yet. Last week, I went to the doctor because I had conjunctivitis, aka "pink eye". Of course I had to check my weight and I weigh 254.4 lbs. I don't know if this is an increase or decrease...but I want it to change.
When I'm at work, I walk about 2 miles, and when I can, I also walk when I get home from work. I recently updated my phone to the Samsung Note 3 and I have the gear as well. I've been using the S Health app which tracks my steps and calorie intake. The steps are tracked automatically, but I have to enter my daily food intake.
I have been averaging 8000 - 10000+ steps per day, which is 3 - 4+ miles a day. This helps me out so much, because my daily goal is to take 10000 steps. Some days I reach my goals, most I come really close. I need to work on my diet and I would like to get down to 2000 calories a day or less. It was recommended that I aim for 1500 a day to aid in my weight loss.... but I don't know if I can do that, I love to eat, lol. Maybe I can meet somewhere in the middle at 1800, what do you all think?
