Wellness Wednesday - How many more to go?!?!
This past month I've struggled to do any type of exercise or stick to my healthy eating habits. I knew before I stepped on the scale this morning, I was going to pay. The scales read 249.9lbs which was up from 246.3lbs...back up 3.3lbs. Not the downward trend I'm going for. This is to be expected because I started eating at McDonald's every morning.....not a good look. I have no one to be upset with except myself. I was eating any and every thing because I love food. And when it comes to food, the better it tastes...the more I want. Believe it or not, soda and sweet tea are my biggest culprits.. How do I expect to lose weight if I don't control what goes into my mouth?
So, its the end of the month and I have started my "detox". No meat, breads, dairy, or sweets. I will eat fruits and veggies. I put it in my head, That I can and will do this. I would normally challenge myself to a 10 day detox, but I never stuck to it. I find 7 is my perfect number, and giving my all for 7 days is better than attempting 10 and not sticking to it. Today was a success, and I breezed through it. Drinking at least 120oz of water today. I want to increase my intake to 1 gallon a day. Adding lemon and cucumber makes all the difference in the world to me, and they are a must. I think I will achieve my gallon goal tomorrow as I was only 8oz short today.
Next week I start my Gladiator Boot Camp, I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. It's a 4wk course, 2 times a week. I can only imagine what's going to happen during these next few weeks. This course should help me put a dent in my weight loss journey...because my deadline it quickly approaching. My goal is to weigh 200lb in time for me to leave for my trip...which is 2 months away. In order for me to lose that much weight, in a healthy way, It going to take TONS of discipline. I must stay the course to reap the rewards. I ask that you all keep me encouraged and motivated, St, Martin is call my name. Until next time...Stay Fabulous.
