Wellness Wednesday - Staying Focused

Hey loves!!! Coming in with a quick check in to let you know how I'm doing. For the month of May I'm trying the Pescatarian Diet. So far so good.... The Pescatarian diet is very similar to a Vegetarian diet except you fish or seafood. If you like you can include dairy and eggs. I have chosen to include them in my diet. This is a great diet for me because I LOVE seafood, but the real objective is to eat more vegetables. I have been eating more veggies and one of meals a day contains seafood. This has really motivated me to stay consistent in watching what I eat and portion control. If your looking for a way to jump start the change to living a healthy lifestyle,  I highly recommend this one. Until next time...Stay Fabulous!!!

Wellness Wednesday - My weight loss testimony.

When I stepped on the scale this morning,  it said 248.2lb. It's heading back in the right direction and that's a plus. Keep pushing!!! With that being said, I want to share my testimony.... I want to share my struggle with my weight loss journey.  I know when most of you see me, you see this outgoing person, and for the most part I am. However there are days when I can't stand the way I look because of all this extra weight I have  carried around for almost 12yrs. I have my struggles especially when it's time to try on clothes...it's something about that damn dressing room mirror, I swear it's the devil, lol. I have my pity party and I get a little discouraged...but then I remind myself you can do this!!! Starting in January I became determined to lose 80-100lbs. I know that sounds drastic,  but most of you don't know how much I weighted when I started this journey. In January I weighted 256lbs...I was in shock!!! I have never been this heavy in my life. S...
