2014...What it meant to me

Where do I begin...taking the time to reflect on all the wonderful things that have happened to me in 2014. I know it can only get better in 2015, so sit back and enjoy this mini recap of my Year End Review.

February 2014 - Divine Luxury Bath and Body was born, www.divineluxury.etsy.com. I've talked about owning my own business for many years, but I wasn't sure on what I wanted to do. I love food and I love beauty...I chose to start with bath and body products. I didn't launch my Etsy page until August, with the push from my daughter.  I create handcrafted, natural and organic bath and body products that I create from scratch. Business had been of to a great start and it can only continue to go up from here.

June 2014 - I TURN 40!!!! This is such a huge milestone in my life,  the only way to celebrate was to go on a vacation to St. Martin/Maarten. The BEST vacation I have went on this far. The food, the people, and those beaches...OMG. If I didn't do a blog post about St. Martin, will.

Sept 2014 - I hosted my 2nd Annual Sip and Social, and it was a huge success. I partnered with Veola of Do You Naturally Holistic and Natural Hair Spa. We provided on of the best events to the Austin naturals and I can't wait to do it again in 2015...bigger and even better.

Dec 2014 - I attended the Nzuri Natural Hair Expo as a VENDOR!!! I have attended the expo as a consumer, but this year I was able to attend as a business owner. I was superexcited to experience the expo from thst standpoint. My family went with me and we worked together as one unit, that meant a lot to me to have their support. Looking forward to 2015 and all that it has in store for me and my family.

Being thankful for what you have is what it's truly all about. It's not about keeping up with anyone else, but more so with focusing on where your life is taking you. For 2015 I will continue to live to the fullest.  I will give more, laugh more, and love harder. I will travel to different place and learn about new cultures. Life is about taking in as many rich experiences as you can and enjoying them all. I will announce some changes to this blog in the coming weeks. I want to be a better for you all, so be on the lookout for that. I want to wish evwryone a Wonderdul, Blessed, and Happy Year. Continue you live life to the fullest and STAY FABULOUS for 2015!!!
