Talk Tuesday - Customer Service

We've all had to deal with this issue at some point in our life. Sometime the outcome is wonderful, sometimes....ummm, not so much. The one thing I'm big on is great customer service. I feel as the years go by, this is becoming a lost art form. Gone are the days where, "The customer is always right" attitudes are used to resolve issues. I know, every customer can't be right all the time, but it's reassuring when a company goes above and beyond to make you happy as a consumer. Recently I had a wonderful experience with the King Oscar Brand. I love sardines and I recently feel in love with the quality and taste of their sardines. The only issue I have, is a can of their sardines can run you anywhere from $2.50 - $3.00 a can. I expect to pay more for quality and I don't mind, but it can become a little expensive. I decided to email the company and voice my concern. In the email I raved about the great taste and I also requested some coupons for future purchas...

Product Love - Nubian Heritage

A few weeks ago I was sent some bath products from Nubian Heritage from the Pachouli and Buriti line. I was sent the body butter and bar soap. Nubian Heritage is the sister company to Shea Moisture. At first I was apprehensive about about the Pachouli scent because I associate that smell with older ladies and hippies. Not like that's a bad thing, but the older ladies love Pachouli, lol. To my surprise, I actually love this version of the scent. It has a very light and floral smell with small hints of earthy undertones. What I liked most about the soap is how much it lathered for being a moisturizing soap. My skin felt amazing!!!  I could tell the difference between this soap and others I've used before. It moisturized my skin as it cleaned and it wasn't drying on my skin. My skin wasn't extremely dry when I rinsed off. After my shower, I used the body butter. If you have extremely dry skin, this body butter is for you. Once I applied the butter to my skin...it literally...
